Il vetro borosilicato Pyrex trasparente con un diametro di 20 cm è noto per la sua elevata resistenza termica e chimica, perfetto per varie applicazioni.Il vetro borosilicato è un tipo di vetro che è stato progettato per resistere alle condizioni termiche e chimiche estreme. A differenza del vetro normale, il vetro borosilicato ha una composizione chimica unica che gli conferisce una maggiore resistenza agli shock termici e ai cambiamenti di temperatura. Ciò lo rende particolarmente utile in laboratorio, dove è necessario trattare sostanze chimiche ad alte temperature. Uno dei vantaggi del vetro borosilicato Pyrex Pluvia è che è facile da pulire e sterilizzare. Può essere lavato in lavastoviglie o sterilizzato con vapore senza alcun danno al materiale.
