N.B i battiscopa in genere non arrivano “attestati” alle estremità e, oltre a dover essere tagliati, potrebbero presentare anche piccole imperfezioni dovute al trasporto (le teste non vengono imballate di solito) oppure al ciclo di verniciatura (potrebbe essere colata della vernice sulla testa che ne impedisce la normale adesione) , quindi è normale prassi doverle attestare di almeno 1cm in fase di posa. Questo è tipico di tutte le tipologie di battiscopa in commercio.
