Il bioetanolo è un combustibile liquido e incolore, utilizzato per l’alimentazione di stufe e camini senza canna fumaria.
Questo combustibile è ricavato dal processo di fermentazione delle biomasse, ovvero prodotti agricoli ricchi di zuccheri.
Trattandosi di un prodotto di origine naturale la combustione del bioetanolo abbatte notevolmente le emissioni di CO2, ridotte di circa il 70% rispetto a quelle causate dall’uso di combustibili fossili.
