CER0050 VERDE/PRETA (VERDE E NERA)

CER0050 GREEN / PRETA (GREEN AND BLACK)

A candle symbolically and magically represents a man.

This is why in the practices of Magic this tool is of primary importance to be able to get the best out of the operations undertaken.

Composition, color, orientation, consecration, use in the necessary ritual forms make the candle an indispensable link with the invisible forces of the world, a subtle bridge, whose structure is incomparable.

The nice and traditional gesture of blowing the candles on the birthday celebration cake actually hides a deep magical meaning. As proof that everything in Life is Magic, tradition affirms that even in this simple ritual there is an act that transcends mere appearance. All this because the candle is in truth a synthesis of emblems and symbolisms of extreme significance. Its very constitution is allusive; it is, in fact, similar to a man: it has a Body (the wax), a Soul (the wick), a spirit (the flame) and as a man is born (ignition), lives aging (melting), dies (extinction) . It is also a perfect synthesis between materiality and spirituality. If the beeswax that the form indicates the matter, the flame that burns it is a symbol of the spirit that, sublime, detaches itself from the matter to rise. In the middle, a bridge between the two realities, there is the wick, a filter through which the transmission from one condition to the other takes place. The wax is a clear solar representation, the flame is an expression of the Light; the lighted candle illuminates the way, the unlit candle abandons in the dark and darkness.

Candles are powerful catalysts of energy, especially when combined with colors, herbs and stones, so it is good that they are always present on the altar. The reasons why a Daughter of the Goddess decides to light a candle are many. Let's see some of them: the celebration of feasts, equinoxes, solstices, the full moon, the new moon, evocations and invocations of the elemental spirits and the little people, search for the guiding spirit, protection and defense, for the fulfillment of desires, for evolution interior and the attainment of wisdom, for love, for health, for work, for money or to find peace.

In any ritual with candles, the most important factor is color, as each color has a vibration, which affects the ritual differently.

- Many people fear black candles because of the bad name they have. In fact, they are often used to make spells or black magic rites, since popular tradition believes that black has a nefarious power and symbolizes evil, resentment, revenge, hatred. It is a color considered to be a bearer of sadness, grief and despair. In reality, black symbolizes the depths of Mother Earth, and is used in Wicca for rituals of protection, to invoke the chthonic forces of survival (for example in the case of a serious illness), to ward off unwanted people, to access the depths of one's own. unconscious, to ignite a strongly negative event and thus undo hexes and black magic.

Green represents the energies of nature, green candles are used to foster friendships.

Green candles: they adapt to every sign and element, they are propitiatory for money and luck, for rituals linked to hope and to find lost loved ones. For some specific practices, the Green candle is linked to the planetarium and therefore to the day Friday and to the angel Anael to officiate love returns.

GREEN: For love, fertility, prosperity and good luck, also for money, understood as growth, economic prosperity of the person, for beauty and invigoration. For rituals of protection and growth in general. luck, fertility, abundance, growth, courage, healing.

Green is one of the colors of the Mother, and this makes candles of this shade very powerful. They accomplish what you want, especially in regards to work and love. If we are in a period of waiting, of transition, of instability, the green candle can unlock the circumstances and make things work out in our favor, speeding up the resolution of problems. It is used to conclude business and work agreements (only if lawful), to accelerate promotions and income of money, to propitiate abundance and prosperity. In love it is used to promote the meeting with the right person, to protect one's relationship from envy and jealousy, to restore peace after a quarrel. If it is not possible to meditate in Nature, the green candle solves the problem, as its chromatic vibration is the same as that of the woods, plants, trees, so it is useful to get in touch with the Mother.

HOW TO USE THE MAGIC CANDLES
How to use magic candles is a basic knowledge for ceremonies. Before using candles for magical use it is preferable to rub them along their entire length with oils suitable for magical rituals; it is also necessary to prepare prayers to be said during the rites; for example, if a rite is produced to attract love or luck, here is a prayer to be repeated three times during the rite itself:

"In the name of universal love, I purify and consecrate this candle, out of plea and complacency to all cosmic energies, that it be infused with the strength to burn with tenacity for love and for light, so be it".

The ritual candles used to purify can be enhanced with engravings and symbols, a pointed silver tool must be used to make them. To light esoteric candles (candle magic) it is good to use a white candle whose flame has previously been lit with a lighter, never light magic candles with sulfur-headed matches.
