Il dispositivo è caratterizzato da un diametro interno di 45 mm e da un diametro esterno di 95 mm ed è adattabile a filtri d'aria con diametro di attacco di 56 mm. Compatibile con il filtro d'aria Ama art. 08289.
Il cappellotto impedisce l'ingresso di polvere, corpi estranei e particelle inquinanti nel contenitore del filtro d'aria, che possono a lungo tempo danneggiare ed usurare gli elementi costitutivi del motore del motocoltivatore, a causa di fenomeni di attrito.
