I pressostati Canto DPC sono destinati all'uso nei sistemi di refrigerazione e condizionamento dell'aria per fornire protezione contro una pressione di aspirazione troppo bassa o una pressione di mandata troppo alta. I pressostati DPC sono utilizzati anche per l'avvio e l'arresto di compressori e ventole di refrigerazione su condensatori raffreddati ad aria.
Il pressostato DPC può essere collegato direttamente a un motore CA monofase fino a 2 KW o installato nel circuito di controllo di motori CC e motori CA di grandi dimensioni.
I pressostati DPC sono dotati di un interruttore unipolare a due vie (SPDT). La posizione dell'interruttore è determinata dall'impostazione del pressostato e dalla pressione al connettore.
