che prima fu un aceto balsamico di Spilamberto in provincia di Modena
La batteria di botti dell'Agriturismo biologico Sant'Egle è stata forgiata nel 1991 da un mastro bottaio di Castelvetro, in provincia di Modena. E' composta da 6 botti di legno pregiati come acacia, rovere, castagno, ginepro, gelso e corbezzolo, più una badessa di castagno. Hanno una capienza di 30, 25, 20, 15 e 2 più piccole da 10lt da cui vengono prelevati 2 lt all'anno di Elisir.
Nel 2022 il proprietario di questa batteria, vincitore della medaglia d'oro come miglior aceto di Castelvetro al palio di Spilamberto, ha deciso di venderla, ecco come è arrivata all'Agriturismo biologico Sant'Egle. Non ostante la batteria sia di aceto balsamico di Modena, perchè ha passato i suoi primi 40 di vita a Spilamberto in provincia di Modena, per legge, quando viene portata fuori dal territorio di Modena, non gli è più concesso di essere chiamato Aceto Balsamico di Modena.
