Perché è necessario utilizzare il flocculante per la piscina?
Il prodotto flocculante si utilizza quando l’acqua ha perso trasparenza ed è diventata torbida.
Il materiale presente in piscina è di dimensioni ridotte e il filtro non riesce a trattenerle.
E’ quindi necessario utilizzare un prodotto (il flocculante) che le aggreghi e le renda più grandi, in modo che il filtro possa trattenerle.
I motivi per cui l’acqua è torbida possono essere molti:
Presenza di alghe, batteri, materiale organico
Precipitazioni di sali di calcio o magnesio nell’acqua della piscina
Polvere e pulviscolo portati dall’aria, dai bagnati, dalla pioggia
Ossidazione dei sali di ferro e manganese nell’acqua della piscina
Si dice che le particelle di sporco sono "colloidali", cioè talmente piccole da non poter essere trattenute all’interno della sabbia del filtro.
