Forbid in polvere è un prodotto che previene ed elimina la coprofagia, disabituando il soggetto dall'ingestione delle proprie feci.
La Coprofagia, secondo l'opinione di esperti, viene ricondotta ad un comportamento alterato dell'animale e non a carenze alimentari specifiche come si riteneva in passato. L'approccio terapeutico deve quindi tendere a modificare l'atteggiamento comportamentale del soggetto, disabituando l'animale dall'ingestione delle feci. Le sostanze contenute in Forbid rendono infatti le favi talmente sgradevoli anche ad una parziale assunzione.
Se assunto durante i trattamenti antiparassitari evita la reinfestazione impedendo la riassunzione delle uova dei parassiti tramite il materiale fecale.
Per l'assunzione, miscelare il prodotto nell'alimento seguendo le dosi giornaliere sotto riportate:
Si consiglia di somministrare Forbid per un minimo di 15 giorni, estendibile secondo le indicazioni del Medico Veterinario. Se il soggetto sottoposto a coprofagia condivide il suo ambiente con altri cani o gatti, estendere la somministrazione di Forbid anche a questi altri soggetti, così da impedire l'assunzione di feci altrui. Si raccomanda acqua a volontà.
