Grazie al sensore di pioggia elettronico GARDENA è possibile avere un'irrigazione automatica che tiene conto delle precipitazioni. L'irrigazione non inizia in caso di pioggia oppure viene interrotta in caso inizi a piovere durante l'irrigazione. Il funzionamento optoelettronico consente una reazione immediata all'inizio delle precipitazioni, evitando sprechi d'acqua dal rubinetto o dalla cisterna. Il sensore di pioggia può essere inserito tramite il picchetto direttamente nell'aiuola vicino alle piante oppure collocato su pavimentazione. Il sensore di pioggia elettronico GARDENA è fornito con 5 m di cavo e tappo. Per il funzionamento è necessaria una pila alcalina da 9 V (non inclusa). Ciò consente un funzionamento affidabile per circa un anno. Nota.
