Il dispositivo funziona sul principio di convezione off-road ovvero il flusso d'aria a ventilazione forzata.
Viene generata aria fredda dalla parte posteriore dell'unità in seguito il flusso viene a sua volta riscaldato dal riscaldatore.
Infine l'aria riscaldata fuoriesce anteriore del riscaldatore.
Il dispositivo dispone di un termostato per la regolazione della temperatura 5-35 °C. L'area dell'unità è dotata di protezione termica anti scottatura e anti deformazione. Strutturato in acciaio con parete fredda al tatto.
