Il Lorenz Mission Impossible 001996MI è una speciale Limited Edition automatica realizzata per celebrare il 30° anniversario di Mission: Impossible, a trent'anni dal debutto cinematografico del 1996. Un modello pensato espressamente per gli appassionati e i collezionisti della celebre saga.
La cassa in acciaio da 42 mm con finitura IP Black presenta una speciale targhetta laterale in bassorilievo con logo Mission: Impossible e numerazione individuale 000/999, che identifica ogni esemplare della serie limitata. Il fondello realizzato con lavorazione Oil Press riporta il logo IMF e i riferimenti ufficiali Paramount.
Il quadrante blu e nero presenta particolari lavorazioni concentriche e dettagli rossi a contrasto, per un'estetica tecnica e immediatamente riconoscibile. La dotazione comprende vetro zaffiro, lunetta girevole unidirezionale, corona e fondello a vite. L'impermeabilità raggiunge i 30 ATM / 300 metri.
Il cuore dell'orologio è il movimento meccanico automatico Miyota 8215, con funzioni tre sfere e calendario. La cassa ha uno spessore di 14,6 mm, distanza lug-to-lug di 48 mm e anse da 21 mm.
Il modello viene fornito con due cinturini intercambiabili: uno in gomma nera, dal carattere più tecnico e sportivo, e uno in cuoio ingrassato, pensato per offrire una seconda interpretazione dell'orologio.
