Uno dei più famosi tè verdi cinesi, vanto nazionale, proviene da piantagioni situate attorno al Lago Occidentale (Xi hu) nella zona di Huangzhou, nella provincia dello Zhejiang. Belle foglie, germogli appiattiti ancora tradizionalmente a mano, durante la delicata fase dell'inibizione della ossidazione enzimatica, nelle padelle di metallo poste sul fuoco.
Il nome, pozzo del dragone, è legato alla leggenda di uno di questi mitici animali che abitava nella zona delle coltivazioni. Ha vinto riconoscimenti internazionali. Raccolto esclusivamente primaverile è reputato essere insuperabile se preparato con l'acqua della vicina fonte della "Tigre che corre".
COLORE: Giallo chiaro.
AROMA E PROFUMI: Intenso, penetrante, note di vaniglia e castagna.
SAPORE: Vellutato in bocca, rotondo, dolce, note di castagna cotta.
PREPARAZIONE: 2/3 gr. per 200 cc. di acqua minerale naturale alla temperatura di 75/80° .Tempo di infusione 3 min.
COME BERLO: Mattino per le proprietà depurative, pasteggiando, dopo pasto come ottimo digestivo, pomeriggio, sera. Bere puro o con poco zucchero candito.
