Capace di periodi prolungati di invecchiamento e sostenuto da una grande struttura, si ritrova in questo Nebbiolo una delle principali espressioni della terra di Monforte d’Alba. Vino pregiato e prezioso che non smette mai di donare sensazioni uniche nel suo genere. Colore rosso aranciato dai riflessi brillanti. Di grande struttura e lunghezza. Possiede forti note di delicate spezie da cucina (pepe e noce moscata), caramello e cannella alternate a quelle più delicate di frutta matura. Al palato è potente, pieno e persistente. Vino adatto per i secondi piatti strutturati e con formaggi forti, ottimo con funghi e carni rosse. Grande affinità con i salumi, specie se di lunga stagionatura.
