Neoxide è un preparato otologico efficace nella pulizia del canale uditivo del cane e del gatto, mantenendolo libero dall'accumulo di secrezioni, cerume, detriti cellulari e impurità. Il prodotto è anche indicato sull'animale sano per la normale pulizia auricolare.
Neoxide ha un'azione cheratolitica, ceruminolitica, emolliente, idratante e igienizzante. Utilizzando il prodotto in modo continuativo si può ottenere un efficace controllo sulla flora batterica auricolare; inoltre, grazie alle sue proprietà lenitive e idratanti, può essere utilizzato per prevenire otiti nei soggetti predisposti (es. Cocker e Barboncini).
Si consiglia l'applicazione di 5-6 gocce nel cane e 2 nel gatto, successivamente di massaggiare delicatamente l'orecchio alla base, lasciando l'animale libero di scuotere il capo per consentire la fuoriuscita del materiale disciolto. Ripetere l'operazione nel corso della giornata fino a quando l'orecchio apparirà pulito e privo di cerume. Successivamente utilizzare Neoxide una volta a settimana per prevenire recidive.
