L'olio di cocco si utilizza negli oli e nei balsami per il corpo, nella realizzazione di scrub esfolianti e nutrienti, negli oli abbronzanti o dopo-sole ed è indispensabile per preparare il sapone fatto in casa: in quest'ultimo caso, si inserisce nella formulazione del sapone nella misura del 20-25% sul totale dei grassi utilizzati.
