I peperoncini piccanti sono un antipasto tipico della tradizione culinaria siciliana, esprimono sapori forti e avvolgenti.
Ingredienti: Peperoni rossi “a ciliegia”, olio extra-vergine di oliva, olio di girasole, tonno, pomodoro secco, fecola di patate, acciughe, capperi, aceto di vino bianco, sale.
Lavorazione: I peperoni rossi “a ciliegia” vengono messi a macerare con l’aceto di vino bianco e successivamente riempiti con un impasto di tonno, acciughe, pomodoro secco, capperi e fecola di patate. Infine, dopo aver inserito manualmente i peperoncini nei barattoli, viene aggiunto l’olio fino a colmare il vasetto.
