TL-SG1005P è uno switch unmanaged con 5 porte 10/100Mbps che non richiede configurazione ed è dotato di 4 porte PoE (Power over Ethernet). Può rilevare automaticamente i Powered Device (PD) compatibili con lo standard IEEE 802.3af e fornire loro alimentazione. In questa situazione, traffico e alimentazione elettrica vengono trasmessi utilizzando lo stesso cavo, permettendo di espandere la rete dati anche dove non sono presenti prese elettriche e di utilizzare dispositivi quali Access Point, Telecamere IP, Telefoni IP o altro ancora.
PoE - Power over Ethernet4 delle 8 porte RJ45 con Auto-Negoziazione (da porta 1 a porta 4) dello switch supportano la funzione Power over Ethernet (PoE). Queste porte rilevano automaticamente i Powered Device (PD) compatibili con lo standard IEEE 802.3af e forniscono loro alimentazione e traffico dati.
Ottimizzazione sovraccarico
TL-SG1005P ha la funzione di priorità che aiuta a proteggere il sistema in presenza di sovraccarico elettrico. Se tutti i PD PoE consumano più di 56W, verrà predisposta una priorità fra le porte PoE, e lo switch toglierà alimentazione alla porta con priorità più bassa.
Funzione Port Priority
Priorità (porta 1 = porta 2 = porta 3 > porta 4): Questa funzione permetterà il normale funzionamento del sistema, e in concreto la Porta 4 verrà disalimentata quando il consumo elettrico di tutti i PD PoE supera i 56W. Se, ad esempio, le Porte 1, 2 e 4 stanno utilizzando 15.4W (la Potenza massimo per porta è 15.4W), lo switch fornisce 46.2W in totale. Se si collega un PD in Porta 3 che richiede 10W, lo switch disalimenterà Porta 4 per evitare il sovraccarico del sistema, e di conseguenza le Porte 1 e 2 utilizzeranno 15.4W, Porta 3 10W, Porta 4 non verrà alimentata.
