Tecniche diverse:

Per i modelli grandi o le trecce usate nastri di paillettes.
Vestire una forma di polistirolo:
Infilare una paillette su uno spillo (il diametro della testa dello spillo deve essere più grande del diametro del foro della paillette), poi infilare il tutto nel supporto,
Infilate una nuova paillette su un nuovo ago e poi cucitela accanto alla prima, sovrapponendole leggermente come squame per coprire perfettamente il supporto (non deve rimanere del bianco).

Per variare i piaceri o per fare gli occhi (per esempio) infilare una perlina di semi prima della paillette sull'ago.
