Detto anche tè rosso, non è un vero tè, poiché non proviene dalla Camelia Sinensis, ma è il prodotto della lavorazione delle parti aeree e dei rametti dell'Asphalatus Linearis, un arbusto che cresce in Sudafrica.Consumato dalle popolazioni locali, è divenuto bevanda nazionale.
Coloratissima miscela di rooibos, mela, uvetta roglie di ribes, petali di rosa e coriandolo. Il Rooibos è bevanda adatta a tutti, in quanto totalmente priva di caffeina. Inoltre, il gusto naturalmente dolce lo rende gradito anche ai bambini.
INGREDIENTI: Rooibos, mela, uvetta passolina, foglie di ribes, petali di rosa e coriandolo, aromi
COLORE: Rosato
AROMI E PROFUMI: Agriumato all'attacco seguito dalle note leggere e dolci del Rooibos e della frutta.
SAPORE: Dolce, morbido, retrogusto di frutta e agrumi.
PREPARAZIONE: 2-3 gr. per 150/200 cc. di acqua alla temperatura di 95° lasciare in infusione 4-5 minuti. C'è chi lo prepara per decotto.
COME BERLO: Mattino, pomeriggio. Bere puro o con una punta di zucchero candito o miele. Biscottini da tè, torte casalinghe, crostate.
