DESCRIZIONE
'anguria da picnic perfetto, con un sapore dolce eccezionale che ha superato le nostre prove di gusto con abbondante successo.
Varietà antica del 1900 è di grandi prestazioni, con scorza a strisce verdi, dentro di un bel rosso brillante, polpa molto dolce.
La lettura Brix (valore zuccherino) è più alta di qualsiasi varietà.
Medio precoce, buccia di colore verde chiaro con striature scure, polpa di colore rosso pallido, molto succosa e zuccherina. Semi piccoli biancastri.
Semina: in piena terra quando il terreno è almeno a 20° C, da aprile a maggio, 3-4 semi per buca a 2 cm di profondità. Oppure al coperto in vasetti, in marzo-aprile per anticipare la produzione.
Trapianto: all’aperto a fine aprile-inizi maggio.
Distanze: tra le file 1,5-2 m, sulla fila 1-1,5 m.
Consigli: lasciare in ogni buca una sola pianta. Cimare il getto principale sopra la terza foglia.
Seme occorrente: 40-50 g per 100 mq di terreno.
