I semi di cetriolo "Serpente Cinese"
sono semi di una varietà di cetriolo originario dell'Asia, noto per la sua forma allungata e serpentina. Questa varietà è particolarmente apprezzata per la sua produttività, la sua resistenza alle malattie e il suo sapore dolce e croccante.
I semi di cetriolo sono generalmente di piccole dimensioni e di forma ovale. Possono essere di colore marrone, grigio o nero, a seconda della varietà. I semi di cetriolo "Serpente Cinese" sono solitamente venduti in bustine o sacchetti di carta o plastica, contenenti un numero variabile di semi, a seconda del produttore.
Per piantare i semi di cetriolo "Serpente Cinese", è necessario preparare un terreno fertile e ben drenato. I semi vanno seminati in primavera, quando il rischio di gelate è passato, oppure in autunno, per una coltivazione invernale. Si possono seminare direttamente in terra oppure in semenzaio, per poi trapiantare le piantine in pieno campo quando hanno raggiunto una certa dimensione.

CLIMA: ottimale per la crescita 25-30°C - minima 15°C - fotoperiodo lungo - esposizione soleggiata.
SEMINA: luna crescente - si può effettuare o la semina a postarelle, cioè 2-3 semi in una buchetta, o la semina a fila continua, sia nel primo che nel secondo caso dopo la nascita, 20-30 giorni dalla semina, si procede al diradamento lasciando una sola pianta per metro quadro.
