Il mandrino SDS-Plus consente di sostituire punte e scalpelli in modo rapido, senza attrezzi e assicura una trasmissione di potenza ottimale dal motore da 1250 Watt (forza colpo 3,5 Joule). Una struttura speciale dell'impugnatura protegge l'utente dalle vibrazioni. Testa porta ingranaggi in alluminio. Maggior sicurezza durante il funzionamento è data da una frizione che in caso di sovraccarico reagisce immediatamente a qualsiasi inceppamento improvviso del bit. La guida di profondità in metallo permette di ripetere forature di uguale profondità.
