Alimentatore rainproof con grado di protezione IP45 per uso interno o esterno V-tac VT-21251 con corpo in metallo. Potenza 250W. Input 100-264V AC 2.57A 50/60Hz. Uscita 12V DC 20A. Alimentatore con protezione da sovraccarichi e cortocircuiti. Dotato inoltre diraffreddamento attivo con ventola. Nella parte superiore dell'alimentatore è presente una piccola staffa con asole per poterlo agganciare a muro, mentre il coperchio anteriore è sfilabile con meccanismo a slitta per poter accedere agevolmente ai morsetti. Tramite le 2 uscite con morsetti a vite può essere connesso facilmente alle strisce LED o utilizzato per alimentare altri apparecchi elettronici come router, hub, telecamere di sicurezza, impianti audio-video, ecc.
L'alimentatore deve avere una potenza superiore del 20% rispetto al wattaggio effettivo della striscia LED. Ad esempio una striscia LED da 10W per metro, lunga 1 metro, avrà bisogno di un alimentatore con potenza di 12W o superiore.
