Il Tonno Rosso Florio è lavorato a Erice, in Sicilia, da Nino Castiglione secondo la tradizione conserviera trapanese. Pescato nel Mar Mediterraneo, in zona FAO 37, viene tagliato a mano, sistemato nella latta e conservato in olio di oliva con l’aggiunta di sale marino.
La stagionatura di almeno tre mesi permette al tonno di acquisire un gusto intenso e armonioso, mantenendo una consistenza compatta. La confezione da 300 g è ideale per preparare antipasti, insalate, primi piatti o secondi dal carattere mediterraneo.
La pesca con reti a circuizione e la certificazione Dolphin Safe testimoniano l’attenzione verso l’ambiente marino. Il marchio Florio, oggi prodotto dalla famiglia Castiglione, porta avanti la storica tradizione siciliana legata alla lavorazione del tonno.
