L’Aglio Rosso di Nubia è una varietà tipica della provincia di Trapani, coltivata nei terreni scuri e argillosi della contrada Nubia, a Paceco. Si distingue per le tuniche esterne bianche e per quelle interne di colore rosso intenso, che racchiudono spicchi dal profumo deciso.
Il naturale contenuto di allicina gli conferisce un aroma particolarmente intenso e un gusto pungente, ideale per insaporire pesti, sughi, zuppe, marinature e numerose ricette della cucina mediterranea. Dopo la raccolta, l’aglio viene lasciato essiccare naturalmente secondo la tradizione locale.
La confezione comprende una treccia composta da 10 teste, pratica da conservare e adatta anche come elemento decorativo in cucina. È prodotta dall’Azienda Agricola Barbara, realtà familiare che porta avanti la coltivazione tradizionale dell’aglio rosso nel rispetto dei ritmi naturali e del territorio siciliano.
